Volpedo is a small agricultural village in the province of Alessandria in Piedmont. Renowned for fruit (strawberries and peaches) and viticulture. Famous for the birthplace of the painter Giuseppe Pellizza and the historic center century, has been included in the list of "Most beautiful villages in Italy".
Hilly area at the mouth of the Val Curone towards the plain, close to the main motorway junctions (A7 and A21) and rail transport (lines Milan-Genoa and Turin-Bologna), is located about 10km from Tortona and 30km from Alexandria.
